Multiple choice and Javabat - Recursion

The diagnostic test was pretty hard. Sadly, I couldn't answer many of them and it still seems very fresh to me right now. I looked at the explanations given at the end of the test but I still failed to understand few of them. Just as an example, I was stuck on number two as I do not remember studying top-down development or bottom-up development etc. and the explanation given at the back confused me ever more so that's one thing I definitely need to review or discuss with you in class. Some of the questions were quite straight forward but I had a hard time with many of them.

Talking about Javabat problems, I managed to do all except the ones that had string involvement. I could do 8 of them from Recursion - 1 and all of those had array involvement or just simple recursion ones. So I would want to review the string-recursion connection in class once because I really do not understand how they work together and failed to get even one right. I still haven't tried Recursion -2 but I will be doing that as soon as I understand how to do string-recursion problems.
